At FRIE CARES, Women Empowerment is one of our core areas of social development. As a unit of the Foundation for Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, FRIE CARES is committed to helping women move towards confidence, independence, dignity and equal opportunity. As a developing women empowerment NGO in India, we work for women, girls, rural women and women from marginalized communities.Our involvement in women empowerment focuses on improving access to education awareness, health awareness, livelihood support, skill development, financial literacy, digital literacy, entrepreneurship awareness and social inclusion. FRIE CARES believes that women should have the knowledge, confidence and support required to make decisions, contribute to family welfare and participate in community progress.Through our women empowerment programs, we aim to support women with vocational skills, self-employment awareness, small business guidance, leadership development, hygiene awareness, menstrual health awareness and income generation opportunities. We also promote awareness on gender equality, women’s safety, dignity, rights and participation.FRIE CARES gives special attention to women from rural and underprivileged backgrounds, where social and economic barriers often limit opportunities.
