At FRIE CARES, livelihood development is one of our key areas of social transformation. As a unit of the Foundation for Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, FRIE CARES is committed to promoting self-reliance, dignity and sustainable income opportunities among vulnerable and underserved communities.Our involvement in Livelihood focuses on helping youth, women, transgender persons, rural communities and economically weaker families gain access to better skills, awareness and opportunities. As a developing skill development NGO in India, FRIE CARES works towards creating pathways for vocational training, employability skills, entrepreneurship support, financial literacy, digital awareness, women livelihood programs and rural livelihood development.We believe that livelihood support is not only about employment; it is about enabling people to stand with confidence, support their families and participate actively in society. Through our sustainable livelihood programs, we aim to encourage job readiness, self-employment, small business awareness, income generation activities, soft skills development and community-based economic empowerment.FRIE CARES gives special importance to inclusive livelihood opportunities for women and transgender persons, helping them move towards confidence, independence and social respect.
