Child protection in India is a vital social responsibility, as many children continue to face risks such as child labour, child marriage, abuse, neglect, trafficking, school dropout, poverty, unsafe environments and lack of proper care. Every child deserves safety, education, health care, dignity and equal opportunity. Child rights, child safety and child welfare are essential for building a strong and compassionate society.FRIE CARES, a unit of the Foundation for Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, is committed to supporting child protection in India through awareness, community outreach and welfare-based initiatives. Our focus is to protect vulnerable children from abuse, exploitation and neglect, while promoting access to education, health care, nutrition, emotional support and safe childhood.FRIE CARES works with families, communities, volunteers, institutions and responsible partners to create awareness on child rights, child abuse prevention, child labour prevention, child marriage prevention, school education and safe community practices. We encourage early identification of children in distress and guide families towards appropriate support systems such as CHILDLINE 1098, child welfare authorities and legal protection mechanisms under child protection laws.Through child welfare programmes, education support, orphanage support, health awareness, counselling support, community sensitisation and donor-supported activities, FRIE CARES aims to create a protective environment where children can grow with confidence, care and dignity.
Our mission is to ensure that every child feels safe, valued, protected and empowered to build a brighter future.
